The auditions for Clare's Got Talent have taken place in Glor Theatre, Ennis.

A total of 48 acts will be chosen to progress from the auditions to the Semi-finals of Clare's Got Talent compared to 40 acts in 2010.

The audience will also pick one act to progress to the Grand Final from each Semi-finals in February and March.

ABOUT THE JUDGES

NIGEL BRIDGE is very well known in Clare circles having worked with the Lynch Hotel Group for many years. He has been the compere of fashion shows, talent shows and other events over the last 30 years, also serving as a judge on many. A member of Ennis musical society for over 31 years, he once made a cameo appearance in “La Boheme” at the Met in New York. Nigel is an accomplished pianist and has performed all over the world.

TRACY CRAWFORD is the founder of BallyO Promotions which represent some of the country’s top traditional artists including Máirtín O’Connor, Cathal Hayden & Séamie O’Dowd, Líadan, Nollaig Casey & Arty McGlynn and Frankie Gavin. She also maintains a keen involvement in the careers of renowned act, Lúnasa and the projects of her husband Kevin.

BRIAN FLYNN has an experienced background in music having played in bands as a youngster before forming the well known Greensleeves in the mid-70s. As a solo artist, he toured extensively around Ireland and Germany before taking up a number of technical and production positions in RTÉ. Brian has been resident in Clare for nearly a decade and in the past five years he has worked frequently with Clare FM.
